They adopted him after he was brought to the vet clinic my brother was working at. Astro had a rough start to his life and during his stay at the vet clinic (where my brother first met him), he had to have his back leg amputated. Ben and Jess fell in love with him and adopted him to try to give him a better life.
After several years he started having seizures. They took him in and found out that he has a seizure disorder. Due to his amputated back leg, he also has arthritis in his back.
He is an amazingly friendly dog and is always happy to see everyone! However the overnight stays at the emergency vet hospital for his seizures do add up.
I love my brother and sister-in-law and I also love their dog. I don't like to see them struggle with trying to fund the medical care for Astro, so I thought I'd try to help them out.
Any amount that you can spare, will help them pay for Astro's bills...and I know they'd be grateful!
